To Hear the Voice of God

To hear the voice of God is unimaginable
I feel relief unlike any other
I get in touch with my actual self
I long to seek His love forever
To hear the voice of God is unpredictable
Compared to His presence, there’s nothing better
I’m aroused from the fiery wrath of hell
Compared to His presence, there’s no one greater.

I’m lifted by His spirit over me
I only wish to seek Him more and more
He grants all of my wishes when I believe
I can’t wait to see what else is in store

So when you’re feeling in tragic pain,
out of a world you can’t penetrate,
remember that God is always love,
and peace is ours when He comes along.
Whenever there’s nothing that you want to say;
you feel so useless and out-of-place,
remember to shout for the call of God;
stop at nothing for the voice of God.

The voice of God gives life to our feeble souls
Our souls are weak before we meet Him
With His voice we want nothing more
I would do anything to get closer to Him
The voice of God is the voice of reasoning
Don’t try to question with His mind
In all due time we’ll find its meaning
He’ll bring salvation into our lives.

Hear His voice and follow His will;
do it like it’s the last day of your life.
All of your emptiness shall be filled,
by seeking His presence with our lives.

I would do anything in this life,
and give up everything in my life,
to hear the wonderful voice of God,
to feel that precious love of God.
I would give up everything in my life,
and do whatever it takes for me in life,
to feel that wonderful love of God,
to hear the precious voice of God.

Because He’s better than everything,
and He picks me up whenever I fall
I would surrender anything,
to hear the voice of our Holy God.
