31 Then the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we are.” 32 So they brought to the people of Israel a bad report of the land that they had spied out, saying, “The land, through which we have gone to spy it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people that we saw in it are of great height. 33 And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them.”
This Bible verse ministered to me as I was praying today. The men were afraid of the new territory that was placed before them. They were afraid of trying something new. Their fear caused them to see themselves as grasshoppers when they saw the heights of the men of the new land.
New results require new levels of risks
We can’t expect different results if we’re attempting to do the same thing. Peter was challenged to walk toward Jesus. This was a feat that caused him to drown. Although he drown, the most important thing was that he stepped out of the boat.
Unless we don’t step out, we don’t know what lurks on the other side
There might be greater blessings on the other side that we won’t encounter until we surrender our conformism!
Step out of the boat today, to see breakthroughs like never before!
