Why we can’t celebrate Halloween

The Bible says that we perish for the lack of knowledge.

We fail because we don’t know. How many traditions have we maintained in our lives out of ignorance? Why do Catholics celebrate the first communion? Why do they baptize little children? Why is there a mass when someone dies? Is all of this biblical? Sadly, none of it is. Little babies were never baptized with holy water in the Bible; Jesus himself got baptized until he was 30 years old. We celebrate bunnies during Easter instead of celebrating the resurrecting Jesus. We celebrate Santa Claus instead of the birth of Jesus. Similarly and sadly, I have seen many non-believers and even Christians engage in dressing up in Halloween. Parents dress up their little children with nice and lovely costumes, when they don’t know that they are partaking in a satanic worship.

I wrote an article last year about Halloween and about how the devil masquerades himself very nicely so that he doesn’t appear to be demonic to people.

If he were to come as himself, no one would worship or exalt him! He has to come in a form that can be enjoyable, acceptable, and tolerable. In this case, it is the nice, fancy costumes, parties, and going out on this holiday.

The spiritual war is real, and we cannot play with the things in the spirit. Crime rates go up on Halloween, and witches and warlocks fast for this day to have the most murders, rapes, and abuses of all time. There is a nasty spirit in the atmosphere in the day of Halloween. Sadly, there are believers that engage in this activity.

The Bible says that anyone who is a friend of the world is an enemy of God!

If we accept this celebration, we are accepting to open doors for the demonic to enter in our lives. Demons and evil spirits enter through the senses and through worship. They don’t just enter by making pacts with the devil. We must stop it!
