Unfortunately, this hasn’t been my first post this year about a recent suicide. I’ve written a couple of posts about Aaron Hernandez (the ex-football player) as well as the singer of Audioslave. We see time and time again, that in every suicide there’s always questions as to what triggered the person to commit this action. The main reason why (in my opinion) is a desire to end it all. In other words, it is a deep depression that was caused throughout life, which causes these people to desire to kill themselves to “stop suffering.”
Non-believers can say what they want about suicide, but it is never the answer to someone’s life. As a matter of fact, suicide is the beginning of pains if a person decides to commit this act. Judas regretted his decision to betray Jesus, so he hung himself to die, and now he is in hell for eternity. The Bible teaches us constantly that God himself is the only one with the power and authority to end a person’s life; when we take authority in our own hands, we are declaring that we are God, and by doing that, we commit sin.
My heart is broken by what happened to Bennington. It is sad that people still contemplate on this idea. I’ve been feeling this spirit taking big place around the world. There are people that are bound to depression, discouragement, and suicidal thoughts. If you are reading this, don’t listen to those negative thoughts! God still has a purpose and a plan for your life! Listen to the voice of God, who speaks to you through family members and people that you love! You have a purpose! You have a future and a destiny, and the devil longs for and desires to take away your soul! Don’t let him win!
